Zeeshan Ayyub starrer 'Sameer' prepones the release date

'Sameer', a political thriller starring Zeeshan Ayyub, Anjali Patil, Subrat Dutta, Seema Biswas and Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead roles has been preponed and will now release on September 8.

Directed by Dakxin Chhara and produced by Nomad Movies Pvt Ltd., 'Sameer', is story about a young and innocent Muslim engineering student, who is taken into custody by the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS), where he is forced to help the ATS in their mission to find his own roommate Yasin, the mastermind behind the Hyderabad and Bengaluru blasts, before he strikes again in Ahmedabad.

Director Dakxin Chhara is an award winning filmmaker, playwright, director and an activist from the Chhara De-notified Tribes of Ahmedabad in the western part of India. As a Filmmaker, he directed 80 fiction and non-fiction films on various development and political issues of India. His book ‘Budhan Bolta Hai’ (Budhan Speaks) was awarded the first prize for "Mahatma Gandhi Best Creative Writing on Human rights" by National Human rights Commission (NHRC) for 2010-11. Currently, he works as an “Artistic Director” at Budhan Theatre also a founding director of Nomad Movies Pvt Ltd. He has written and Directed 11 plays and Supervised 46 Theatre Productions of Budhan Theatre and performed more than 700 shows in a different part of India.
