City shivers!

City shivers!
SHARES

Mumbai- The city and suburbs woke up to a chilly morning on Thursday. While we await the latest figures from the city's Met department, it would appear that the much delayed winter has finally decided to call on Mumbai this year. In the last three days, the mercury dipped considerably with Tuesday seeing a four year low for January temperatures - the barometer dipped to 12.5 degrees Celsius.
The Met department said yesterday that the city could witness a further drop in temperatures over the next couple of days. The Mumbaikar is not complaining. Moth balled woollens have been brought out as the usually sultry weather has taken a back seat. Collegians and early office goers were seen wrapped in colourful hoodies, shawls and sweaters as Mumbai set out to enjoy whatever the winter decides to bequeath it with. Stay tuned for more weather updates.
