R C Marg – When the construction of Monorail began on the Chembur’s RC road, Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) had planted trees below the Monorail to beautify the area. However, after watering the plants for some days, contractor stopped watering. These plants then died.
This year to MMRDA has planted various saplings which are enhancing the beauty. “It is a good move but MMRDA should take care of these saplings by regularly watering them,” said social activist Kumar Gaikwad.
