Central Railways (CR), Railway Protection Force (RPF), began “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations at various Stations that comes under CR with effect from July 1, 2022.
Railway Protection Force organised a Tree plantation drive at various stations over Central Railway. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations is targetted to plant about 60,000 saplings at various locations on Central Railway.
Pune & Bhusaval Divisions
About 7,500 saplings were planted in the Tree plantation drive conducted at Chinchwad Railway Station on Pune Division and Bhusaval Railway station. A video of achievements of RPF & band show was shown by RPF Central Railway at Bhusaval,
Amravati, Akola, Shegaon, Nandura, Malkapur & Badnera stations. Felicitations of freedom fighter program was also held at Central Railway School, Bhusaval.
Meanwhile, Alok Singh has taken over as the Additional General Manager, Central Railways (CR), Mumbai. Prior to this, he was Principal Chief Safety Officer, Central Railway. Alok Singh succeeds B. K. Dadabhoy, who has moved to New Delhi as Additional Member (Marketing & Business Development), Railway Board.
