The temperature fell to 14.8 degrees Celsius from the earlier 17 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, on Tuesday, February 1, the night temperature was also three degrees under normal.

According to the latest reports, owing to northerly winds in Maharashtra, February commenced on a cooler note for Mumbaikars. The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Santacruz observatory, in the last 24 hours, registered a three-degree fall in minimum temperature.

Based on accounts, the temperature fell to 14.8 degrees Celsius from the earlier 17 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, on Tuesday, February 1, the night temperature was also three degrees under normal.

In the majority of parts of Maharashtra, the temperature is anticipated to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius and fall then. In accordance with the IMD’s forecast, there will be an eventual increase in minimum temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius over considerable parts of the state in the next two days and reduce by 2-4 degrees Celsius after.

It has been reported that the forecast predicted that the minimum and maximum temperatures can be under normal by the end of the week. Starting Thursday, February 3, a partly cloudy sky has been forecasted in Mumbai that could last till the end of the week.

On Friday, February 4, the night temperature could drop to 14 degrees Celsius and the day temperature will be 25 degrees Celsius in Mumbai. Similarly, it has been reported that the mean daily temperature for February will be 31.3 degrees Celsius, while the mean night temperature for February will be 18.2 degrees Celsius.

On the other hand, the day temperature registered on Tuesday was also under normal. The Santacruz observatory registered a maximum temperature of 30.6 degrees Celsius which is stated to be a degree under normal.
