Adopt composting and save the mother earth

On the account of World Earth Day, officials of R/South Ward had organised a compost mela at Kandivali’s Thakur village’s Evershine Garden. During this event, deputy commissioner of R/ South ward, Rao Gaikwad explained the importance of composting highlighting the procedure of it. He addressed the society members that one needs to go for composting as in coming years there will be no dumping ground. He also demonstrated the procedure of using kitchen compost in the garden.

For the event, corporator of ward no. 24 Madhuri Yogesh Bhoir, standing committee’s president Kamlesh Yadav, MLA Prakash Surve were also present.
