The Indian rock python was near the site of proposed Metro 3 carshed.

Amid the recent debates between the activists, politicians and civic authorities of whether Aarey should be considered as a forest or no, an Indian Rock Python was found at the site of the proposed  Metro 3 (Colaba-Bandra-Seepz) carshed in Aarey Colony.

The python was spotted at night and was successfully rescued by Durgesh Kadam and Sanskriti. Check out the entire video of rescue operation here

Notably, environmental activists and non-profits have protested been consistently protesting against cutting down of 2700 trees for the construction of Metro 3 carshed. Many eminent personalities have also come forward to show their support.
