Mulund - A very attractive butterfly is spotted at Khindi Pada in Mulund west. Nature lovers were really fascinated by this sight. The butterfly resembled a leaf when its wings were closed. Upon opening, it resembled a peacock feather. This butterfly belongs to Kalima Paralecta species which is one of the rarest .There are altogether 1500 species of butterflies in India out of which 225 are spotted in Maharashtra. It is believed that this butterfly flew to Mulund from the adjoining Sanjay Gandhi national park.
