Sahyadri Mountains are calling, but to save them. Deforestation, poaching, unlawful hunting, dumping of plastic waste is affecting the mountain and it's beauty. Ashwamedh pratisthan in alliance with environmentalists organised cycling rally. 50 cyclists will be riding all the way to the mountain covering 1,200 km. The rally is scheduled to embark from 1-9 December. 25 cyclists will take two routes as follows - Navapur - Mahabaleshwar and Sawantwadi - Mahabaleshwar. Mumbai University, Vice-Chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh said," NSS students will do street play on 101 stops to encourage cyclists." Journey will have 36 stoppages.
