Here’s a chance once again for all plus size people to put their best foot forward and display their poise and confidence and walk on the Lakmé Fashion Week runway. aLL – The Plus Size Store is collaborating with ace designer, Wendell Rodricks to design a new Autumn Winter collection which will be showcased at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017

When and Where....

The Plus Size Model Auditions will take place on Friday, 23rd June in Mumbai at The St. Regis, Lower Parel; 9:30 am– 11:00 am.

The auditions will be judged by an eminent panel including Curvy International Model and Body Positive Advocate - Liza Golden-Bhojwani, Fashion Designer - Wendell Rodricks; CEO, aLL– The Plus Size Store - Hetal Kotak, Fashion and Lifestyle Consultant - Neeraj Gaba, Head of Innovations, Lakmé - Purnima Lamba and Vice President and Head of Fashion, IMG Reliance, Jaspreet Chandok.

What will you win...

Winners of the audition will get an exclusive mentoring session with Liza Golden-Bhojwani.

Who is it for...

While previous modeling experience is welcome, it is not mandatory. All confident plus-sized women and men (waist 34”upwards for women & 40”upwards for men) are invited to come forward. Dress in black. Women are advised to carry their own stilettos/heels.

Talking about the same, ace designer, Wendell Rodricks commented, “As a designer known to embrace all body shapes, I am delighted to be with aLL this season at Lakmé  Fashion Week. 'Fashion democracy' is my strong belief. Fashion should be for everyone; no matter age, colour, size or shape. At the aLL show I intend to break all the myths about colours and shapes for voluptuous figures”
