Subhash Chandra launches his Marathi autobiography 'The Z Factor'

“Entrepreneurship, technology, invention, and research are the four things he worked on and set up his empire,” were the words of union minister Nitin Gadkari. He was talking about Essel Group Chairman and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Subhash Chandra on the account of book launch where Chandra launched his Marathi version of his autobiography titled ‘The Z Factor - My Journey as the Wrong Man at the Right Time' at Parel’s ITC Grand Maratha. This was done on the account of Marathi Language Day.
During this occasion, along with union minister Nitin Gadkari, NCP president Sharad Pawar, former Cm Prithviraj Chavan, and other noted personalities were present. “Chandra is a selfless man and has done a lot of struggle. I have faced the both,” said NCP chief Sharad Pawar. While former CM Prithviraj Chavan said that management students can learn a great deal from his book.

On January 20, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had unveiled Dr. Chandra's autobiography. The Hindi version of the book was launched in September last year.
