Luxury menswear label SS HOMME is now Sarah & Sandeep

Mumbai-based luxury menswear label SS HOMME  officially announces that the brand’s name has changed to Sarah & Sandeep. The rebranding initiative comes after the brand has developed a more design focused approach towards both formal western and Indian styles. The new name represents the designer duo at the helm of the brand operations, Sarah Shaikh Gonsalves and Sandeep Gonsalves, who are known for being menswear specialists and connoisseurs of the minimal design aesthetic. 

Sarah & Sandeep recently launched Summer Festive 2020 collection, ‘Neoteric Man.' The wide array of Indian menswear styles imagined by menswear specialists and designers Sarah Shaikh Gonsalves and Sandeep Gonsalves are now available at the the flagship store in Khar (West).

Designers Sarah & Sandeep state, “Our designs are evolving and so are we. With this initiative, we wish to express our desire to grow as a designer label and to truly create extraordinary styles for men. We wanted to create festive styles for modern men who endeavour to adapt, change and pave the way for the evolutionary process. Our design is future forward so we expect the visual aesthetic of our audience to evolve with our own.” 

‘Neoteric Man’ celebrates the evolutionary heroic attributes of Indian grooms and is made of festive attire that represents the progress towards contemporary cultures through the use of new-age designs. With the use of progressive design to celebrate courage and power, the designers bring to modern grooms, a synergy of natural fibers, contemporary patterns and pleated draping. 

The highlights of the collection are carefully crafted couture sherwanis that have been hand-embellished with the use of beads, pintucked bandhgalas with mock flaps and bandi sets made with intricate fabric manipulation. ‘NeotericMan’ has been designed using a unique color palette that includes hues like sage green, rose gold, lavender and royal blue.

The store will house the latest collections by the designers and at the same time, provide bespoke consultations for both, business wardrobe and festive styling. Each Sarah & Sandeep bespoke consultant is trained in giving the best possible bespoke consultation for both Indian and Western designs.
