The ‘Aamhi Prabhadevikar’ group organised a shobha yatra on the occasion of Gudi Padwa on Tuesday. Children dressed up in traditional attire and spread social messages relating to planting more trees, saving the environment and putting a stop to female foeticide. Traditional arts like the dhol tasha and the lezim were showcased during the procession, which commenced from Century Bazar to Ganesh wadi, New Prabhadevi Road, Veer Savarkar Road, Siddhivinayak temple, Khed Gully and again returned to the Rajabhau Salve Udyan.
