Vikhroli - Dussehra was celebrated yesterday across the nation with great pomp and show. The Ramleela Committee, Vikhroli completed 50 years this year and the festivities, including the Ravan - Dahan programme -burning the effigy of the demon-god, was held on the Chhatrapati Shivaji ground near Park Site. The grand burning ceremony was held at midnight. Ghazal shows, comic stand- up acts, etc marked the nine day festivities. People thronged to the park in large numbers to witness the victory of good over evil.
