Borivali - Mumbai's dabbawallas are again in the news, and this time for a noble cause. The city's dabbawalas have launched a unique 'clothes bank' for the benefit of Adivasis living around the metropolis. The dabbawalas will collect used or unused clothes from people and donate these during Diwali to the Adivasi communities in Palghar, Jawhar, Mokhada and Talasari. Interested donors can hand over the clothes to the 'Kapda Bank' which will be open at all railway stations from 8 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 6 pm. Donors can also contact Suhas Talekar on 9867221310 to donate the clothes.
