According to the latest reports, the timings for visitors at the revered Haji Ali Dargah situated off the Worli coast in Mumbai have been rescheduled for the occasion of Eid on Tuesday, May 3.

In addition to the timings being rescheduled on Tuesday, it has also been changed for the next two days considering the high tide forecast, a police official was quoted saying on Monday, May 2, in an account by the news agency PTI.

Based on the narrative, the shrine will remain closed from 12.30 pm to 3 pm on Tuesday, 1.15 pm to 3.30 pm on Wednesday, May 4, and from 2 pm to 4 pm on Thursday, May 5.

An official from the Tardeo police station affirmed the same, by means of the report. The official added that the dargah authorities have been informed about the same.

It has been reported that the decision has been undertaken taking into consideration the safety of the devotees. In light of this, over the next three days, heavy police security will be deployed outside the shrine’s entry gate.

Unlike the last two years, where the Eid celebrations were on a down low owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year, with the absence of restrictions, the festival is anticipated to be celebrated with loved ones.
