During Ganesh Chaturthi, we see a variety of Bappa Idols in the city. Some people welcome an eco-friendly idol and some decorate Bappa with diamonds and pearls. One such sculptor has used LED lights on the idol and is all set to light up this festival.

Ghatkopar resident Nitin Chaudhry of Pranjal Ganesh Kala Kendra has initiated this concept. The LED lights which are fit in the idol are controlled with a remote. Because the idol is fitted with a number of lights, it is not possible to carry out visarjan but this idol can be used later as well.
This LED concept is growing in popularity as the idol looks very gracious.
