Mumbaikar’s bid adieu with heavy hearted to their favorite deity. Devotees immersed their Ganesh idols after one and half days. However, this year, mumbaikar's wanted to carry out immersion in the eco friendly way. Considering the need, Mumbai Mayor Snehal Ambekar made an artificial pond in Mayor’s bungalow. Devotees took this opportunity and immersed their idols in the pond.
