The 19th Agri Festival, representing the social and cultural traditions of Thane district, was inaugurated on Wednesday in the presence of eminent leaders of the Agri community. At this time, various dignitaries appealed to the youth of the agricultural community to choose jobs and business opportunities and to come forward as a guide to the society.


Agri Youth Forum has organised the Agri Festival till December 20 at Savalaram Maharaj Sports Complex in Dombivli. Former minister Jagannath Patil, former MP Ramsheth Thakur, All India Agriculture Council President Dashrath Patil, former MLA Subhash Bhoir, Joint Committee President Gulab Vaze, Vasant Patil, Gangaram Patil, Suresh Patil, Dr. Sangeeta Patil, Sharad Patil, Pandurang Mhatre, Navneet Patel, Baban Maharaj were present.

The congregations present commented on the ongoing debate on the issue of reservation for various communities. On this occasion, the Agri community was urged to stay organised to maintain the existence of the society in the field of education and politics in the future. Agri Youth Forum is striving for the memorial of Savalaram Maharaj. On this occasion, efforts are underway to build a spiritual shrine in the Kalyan-Dombivali area. Gulab Vaze said that the support of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, MP Dr. Srikant Shinde is getting support for this activity. On this occasion, meritorious people who have performed well in various fields of agriculture society were honoured.
