The responsibility of the upcoming Kumbh Mela has once again been handed over to Minister Girish Mahajan. Girish Mahajan has been appointed the chairman of the district level committee of the upcoming Kumbh Mela. Guardian Minister Dada Bhuse will have to be satisfied with the post of co-chairman. Chhagan Bhujbal will be given a place in the apex committee headed by the Chief Minister. Mahajan has been given a big responsibility due to the tug of war between Bhuse and Bhujbal for the post of guardian minister of Nashik.
In the backdrop of the upcoming Kumbh Mela, the government has formed four committees. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is the chairman of the summit committee and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis is the vice-chairman, while Ajit Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal and other 8 ministers have been included in the summit committee. Girish Mahajan has been appointed chairman of the district level committee of the Chief Secretary.
