Mumbai Police include tribals in Diwali drive

Mumbai – The Mumbai police have done a commendable job by organising a number of programmes for tribal areas in the city as a part of their Diwali celebrations. Rajesh Pradhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone VII of Mumbai Police, initiated a special campaign at Palaspada, Khindipada to free the tribal people from the addiction of liquor. Pradhan started this drive with the help of activists from Vikas Mandal, Saivihar Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Nimesh Tanna Charitable Trust and Swastik Seva Sanstha. The tribals were also given Diwali sweets on this occasion. Assistant commissioner of police Shashank Sandbhor, Dattatray Bhargude, senior police inspectors Shripad Kale and Rajaram Vhanmane were also present on this occasion.
