Shiv Jayanti was celebrated across the state and in Mumbai. On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, youngsters played dhol tasha at Ghatkopar and enjoyed the celebrations. Along with dhol tasha group, Shivrath Yatra (procession) was also organised.
As per the tradition, Shiv Jyot was carried out through the procession. This procession began at 11 am where people participated wearing traditional outfits.
