Erangal -The annual church feast of Erangal took place on Sunday in Malad. The Baravi Cha Sann, as it is called, is like an annual reunion of the East Indian community. Here, Christians and koli community were present in large number. Right from food stalls and kids toys were seen in this festival. It is celebrated on the second Sunday of January at St Bonaventure Church, Erangal.
People from Christian community start the festival and Hindu community concludes the fest. Church brother Sachin Muntode said that there are stalls selling East Indian goodies, musical instruments, music CDs and ethnic items.
