Mumbai- There's good news for Saibaba devotees. Long queues for darshan will soon be history with an electronic time management (ETM) system being installed at the Shri Sai temple, Shirdi.
This will be operational from 12 December 2016, says Shri Saibaba Sansthan chairman Dr Suresh Havre. From 1 October 2017 to 18 October 2018, the Sai Samadhi centenary will be celebrated at the temple. Devotees from all over the World will be part of this celebration. The devotees will be registered biometrically on the ETM and his /her picture will be clicked. Accordingly, each devotee will be allotted time for darshan.

Also, as a result of the demonetisation drive, the Sansthan received Rs 2 crore 84 lakh rupees as donation from 8 November to 24 November. Rs 71 lakh have been collected after that and this amount is still in the Sansthan's locker as the money can not be deposited now, says Havre. It will be utilised as per government regulations, he adds.
