This Santa preaches cleanliness

Parel- We all know that Santa Claus distributes gifts and spreads joy. However, this Santa Claus is different and is cleanliness conscious.
To mark the Sant Gadge Maharaj anniversary, BMC's F ward has undertaken an initiative of propagating cleanliness which will be done with Santa's help. For the next 10 days, Parel's Santa Claus will spread the message of cleanliness.
During the inauguration of this initiative, deputy commissioner Anand Waghalkar, F ward assistant commissioner Vishwaas Mote, ward committee president Hemangi Chemburkar, corporator Sunil More, Sanjay Ambole and others were present. Wardha Art is helping the F ward to carry out the cleanliness programme. This Santa Claus will roam areas collecting waste. "We will be reaching out to people through Santa who will communicate with people about cleanliness and ask the to segregate dry and wet waste,” said Sunil More, corporator.
