Mumbai- In the last two years, sound pollution has decreased in Mumbai during a Diwali festival. Mumbai Pollution Department has come out with the report which states that Mumbaikars have busted fewer crackers in the last two years. According to the report, Kandivali station recorded minimal noise that is 49.1 decibel. This belongs to the night crackers. During the day, 62.3 decibel sound was recorded at Girgaon’s Metro cinema while 68 decibel was recorded at Borivali. No doubt, Mumbaikars have to go a long way.
