Hakkasan started its journey in Mumbai seven years ago and has most definitely served people with delicious meals and a memorable dining experience. To mark this anniversary month, the management has tied up with a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry and introduced a slightly modulated version of the fortune cookie.
Fortune cookies are quite traditional in the Cantonese culture and due to its fun element of ripping into a cookie and reading your fortune, they're the attraction at the end of a scrumptious meal.
To celebrate their seventh anniversary, Hakkasan in Bandra is serving a hybrid of two classic treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. Coined the Macartune, the confection is a cross between the traditional fortune cookie and the delectable French macaron.

One half of the vanilla flavoured delicacy will be coated with chocolate, and then stamped with a red chocolate seal to symbolise good luck. But you will have to crack this dessert open to get to its most notable part — placed inside are witty one-liners penned by renowned Bollywood personality, Mr. Karan Johar!
He has curated messages on topics most relevant to modern day life in Mumbai, such as glamour, sex, ambition, love and heartbreak. These will be served complimentary at the restaurant during both lunch and dinner service for the entire anniversary month.
The collaborative confection will be served at Hakkasan till August 15, 2018 during restaurant opening hours from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.
