With Easter around the corner, Sorrentina by Foodhall is ready to join in on the celebrations in true Italian style — with an all-day mouthwatering special menu and a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. Served from April 12 – 21 only, the special menu features delicious handpicked options by Sorrentina’s Executive Chef Aabhas Mehrotra, promising you and your loved ones an egg-cellent Easter indeed.

The EEaster special a la carte menu at Sorrentina by Foodhall offers dishes inspired by traditional Italian Easter festivities. Diners can begin their meal with light bites including Burrata Alla Funghi, porcini tomato passata with seared mushrooms, olive streusel and porcini dressing; Peas on Toast, chickpea, barlotti, haricort vert beans on toast with goat cheese and fried sage; and Bacon Burrata Polpette, bacon-wrapped fresh burrata with with fresh cream and carritierra sauce.

Pizza Funghi Bianco

Pasta lovers will enjoy options such as Tajarin Alla Nerrano, with zucchini cream, mint and tomatoes; and Tornarelli Alla Gamberi E Fungi, house-made pasta with sweet water prawns, assorted mushrooms and Parmesan cheese.

Hand-stretched pizzas can also be enjoyed, with options including Pizza Fungi Alla Bianco, provolone cheese, caramelized onion, mushroom and spring onion; and Pizza Bolognese, topped with slow-cooked lamb, stracciatella cheese, and a sunny side-up egg.

Main courses include a traditional Italian Easter offering of Torta Pasqualina, ricotta, spinach, sun-dried tomato, capers and artichoke with goat cheese fondue; and Agnello Scotatido, pan-seared lamb chops with bean and rosemary ragout.

No meal is complete without dessert and the special menu at Sorrentina doesn’t disappoint. Diners can indulge in Hot Cross Buns, traditional Easter buns with Chantilly cream; Limoncello Tiramisu, house-made limoncello with mascarpone sabayon; and Adam’s Apple, cinnamon-stewed apple, crunchy tuille, goat cheese gelato and orange sauce.

Diners can also sip on refreshing Pomegranate and Rose Sour; or a Lemon Berry Martini.

The Easter Special Menu at Sorrentina by Foodhall will be served from April 12-21, 2019 only. (Lunch: 12-4 pm, Dinner: 7-11:30 pm). 

What’s more, on Easter Sunday, Sorrentina will offer fun activities for the whole family, such as a treasure hunt for kids and adults, Easter Egg painting and cookie decoration, and special Easter-themed, coffee-based beverages from KC Roasters.
