JW Café, the all-day dining restaurant at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar is a much sought after venue for its innovative food promotions and menus. Make a vicarious culinary journey across Southern India with the new Southern Sojourn festival that features delicacies from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, they're hosting a special feast from September 28 to October 6. 

What makes this menu even more tantalisingly special is that is has been created by not one but an army of four ace chefs, each one presenting their signature dishes for the Southern Sojourn menu.


Chef Swami from JW Marriott Pune will showcase cuisine from Karnataka, Chef Chandra Kant Tarai from Courtyard Chennai will present specials from Chettinad delicacies from Tamil Nadu, Chef Shireen Jude from Marriott Hotels Resorts & Suites Kochi will offer a taste of Keralan cuisine and Chef Siva Tangdu from JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar will create dishes from Andhra Pradesh.

The menu has been crafted to perfection with dishes including Munakkaya Rasam a drumstick flavoured broth, Masala Paniyaram rice and urad dal dumplings filled with capsicum masala in a traditional concave mould, Attu Erachi Getti Kuzhambu a perfect think lamb curry to relish with paratha, dosa & rice, Chicken Chettinad, Gongura Kodi Kura chicken cooked with tender sorrel leaves, Urulai Vathakal baby potatoes roasted crisp and tossed with tempering, Royyalu Miriyalu fresh bay prawns cooked dry in spicy masala, Mirapakaya Pakodi batter fried stuffed yellow chilli, Nellore Tomato Chappa a spicy home style fish curry from Nellore, Chemmeen Porichathu crisp- fried prawns marinated with spices and curry leaves, Baby corn Kurumi Lagu black pepper marinated baby corn fried crisp, Alleppey Fish Curry fish simmered in coconut milk with shreds of ginger and the delightful sourness of raw mango, Kori Gassi, Chicken stew, Appam, Neer Dosa and a whole variety of Dosas.
