FC Mumbaikars were on a roll after Devneta Roy found the net thrice against FC Kolhapur City as the home team romped to a 4-1 win during the WIFA Women’s Championship 2018 Super Six match held at the Cooperage Stadium.
Devneta was in pristine form scoring in the 12th, 40th and 56th minute to stamp her authority in the match. However, FC Mumbaikars was put into the lead as early as the ninth minute through Sayantani, which led the foundation for the Mumbai team to dominate in the entire match. The Kolhapur side pulled one back through Mithari Pratiksh.
FC Mumbaikars were hunting for this win after been pushed to the corner by Bodyline SC and faced a 0-3 loss on Thursday.
Results: FC Mumbaikars 4 (Devneta Roy 3, Sayantani) beat FC Kolhapur City 1 (Mithari Pratiksh).
