Mumbai – After the High Court and State government appealed them to resume their duties,
152 doctors have returned to their work, informed Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar on Thursday. It is to be mentioned here that the BMC administration had issued notices to the agitating doctors.
The administration will take the responsibility of doctors’ security and their demand for security in hospitals has been granted as 700 armed police personnel will be deployed for this reason from April 1. The service rendered by doctors is very important and they should join their duties to avoid inconvenience to patients, appealed Mahadeshwar.
The number of doctors from Bhabha Hospital is more in resuming their duties, he added.
