37 new COVID-19 cases were found in Panvel municipal area on Monday (December 7) while 55 people haverecovered and discharged from the hospital.

Panvel reported 37 new COVID-19 cases taking the tally up to 25,892 on Monday (December 7). While 55 people have completely recovered in the last 24 hours. In total 24,809 have recovered and discharged while the death toll in Panvel is at 582.

Among the new cases found in Panvel municipal area are 10 from Panvel, one from New Panvel, one from Khanda Colony, two from Kalamboli, eight from Kamothe, 12 from Kharghar and three from Taloja. While the recovered patients are seven from Panvel, 15 from New Panvel, one from Kalamboli and eight from Kamothe, 24 from Kharghar.

Maharashtra reported 3,075 new COVID-19 cases, 7,345 recoveries and 40 deaths on Monday (December 7), taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,55,341 There are 75,767 active cases in the state and 17,30,715 patients have recovered so far. The death toll is at 47,774 in Maharashtra.

In total 1,13,18,721 people have been tested in Maharashtra. The states recovery rate is 93.28 per cent.

Meanwhile, India reported 26,567 new COVID-19 cases, 39,045 recoveries and 385 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 97,03,770 according to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday (December 7). While in total 91,78,946 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,40,958 in the country. At present, there are 3,83,866 active cases.
