Mira Bhayandar reported 59 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. According to Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC), there was a big positive sign in Thursday's numbers as there were no new deaths reported on that day.
So far, total 23,289 positive cases been reported in Mira-Bhayander and 744 people have lost their lives.
With 59 new COVID-19 cases in Mira-Bhayander, this figure has reached 23,289. Also, the death toll of people from has reached to 744. Whereas, 50 people have recovered taking the tally up to 21,889.
If we divide the number of cases in the area, on Wednesday, 15 cases from Bhayandar East, five from Bhayander West and 38 from Mira Road have been reported.
Maharashtra's COVID-19 tally on Thursday rose to 17,36,329 after it recorded 4,496 fresh cases. The state also reported 122 more deaths due to the infection, taking the fatality count to 45,682. Also, 7,809 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day, taking the tally of recovered people to 16,05,064. The number of active cases currently has dropped to 84,627. The COVID-19 deaths in Maharashtra remained on the higher side, but recoveries soared and crossed 16 lakh till date even as the number of 'active cases' declined.
