Navi Mumbai reported 67 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, January 14 talking the tally up to 51,988. While 50,061 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,072. At present, 855 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Thursday, 11 new cases were found in Belapur, eight in Nerul, seven in Vashi, nine in Turbhe, eight in Koparkhairane, 11 in Ghansoli, 15 in Airoli and one from Digha.

While, the recovered patients are 10 from Belapur, 14 from Nerul, six from Vashi, six from Turbhe, five from Koparkhairane, nine from Ghansoli, 25 from Airoli and four from Digha.

On Thursday, January 14, Maharashtra recorded 3,579 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 19,81,623. Currently, there are 52,558 active cases in the state. With 3,309 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 18,77,588.

More than 70 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 50,291. While 1,96,829 persons are under home quarantine, 2,403 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 94.75 per cent, and 2.54 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 15,590 new cases, 15,975 recoveries and 191 deaths taking the tally up to 1,05,27,683 on Thursday, January 14. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,01,62,738 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,51,918 in the country. At present, there are 2,13,027 active cases. According to the ICMR, 18,49,62,401 samples have been tested up to January 14.
