While the number of corona patients has been increasing in the district for the past few days, 68 corona patients have been detected in the district on Saturday. Out of these 51 patients are from Thane city. Four people have died in the district within a week. It has been clarified earlier that three of them are from Thane city. Due to the rapid increase in corona patients in the city of Thane, the health department is worried.
Out of 294 active patients in the district, 248 active patients are from Thane Municipal area. The Thane district hospital administration informed that Navi Mumbai has six patients, Thane rural and Bhiwandi each has three patients, Kalyan-Dombivli and Mira-Bhayander each has two patients and Ulhasnagar municipal area has one corona patient. Four patients have died in the district in the past week, including three from Thane city. One patient of H3N2 disease was detected in the city on Saturday.
