Death Toll in Navi Mumbai touches 1,000

80 fresh COVID-19 cases were found in Navi Mumbai taking the caseload upto 49,092.

Navi Mumbai reported 80 new COVID-19 cases on Monday (December 7) talking the tally up to 49,092. So far, 46,698 people have made a complete recovery from this disease. Also, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,000. At present 1,394 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 95 per cent.

On Monday, 12 new positive cases were found in Belapur, 22 in Nerul, six in Vashi, seven in Turbhe, 12 in Koparkhairane, six in Ghansoli, 14 in Airoli and one in Digha.

 While, the recovered cases are 39 from Belapur, 15 from Nerul, 15 from Vashi, 12 from Turbhe, 20 from Koparkhairane, 18 Ghansoli, eight from Airoli and nine from Digha.

Maharashtra reported 3,075 new COVID-19 cases, 7,345 recoveries and 40 deaths on Monday (December 7), taking the total number of cases in the state to 18,55,341 There are 75,767 active cases in the state and 17,30,715 patients have recovered so far. The death toll is at 47,774 in Maharashtra.

In total 1,13,18,721 people have been tested in Maharashtra. The states recovery rate is 93.28 per cent.

Meanwhile, India reported 26,567 new COVID-19 cases, 39,045 recoveries and 385 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally up to 97,03,770 according to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday (December 7). While in total 91,78,946 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,40,958 in the country. At present, there are 3,83,866 active cases.
