84 new COVID-19 cases were found in Navi Mumbai taking the caseload up to 53,652 while two people have lost their lives.

Navi Mumbai reported 84 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, February 10 talking the tally up to 53,652. While 53,568 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, two death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,095. At present, 819 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Wednesday, 11 new cases were found in Belapur, seven in Nerul, 11 in Vashi, 11 in Turbhe, 21 in Koparkhairane, 12 in Ghansoli, nine in Airoli and two in Digha.

While, the recovered patients are 13 from Belapur, 21 from Nerul, seven from Vashi, nine from Turbhe, three from Koparkhairane, two from Ghansoli, 17 from Airoli and four from Digha.

On Wednesday, February 10, Maharashtra recorded 3,451 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 20,52,253. Currently, there are 35,633 active cases in the state. With 2,421 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 19,63,946

More than 30 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 51,390. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 97.7 per cent, and 2.50 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 12,923 new cases, 11,764 recoveries and 108 deaths taking the tally up to 1,08,71,294 on Wednesday, February 10. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,05,73,372 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,55,360 in the country. At present, there are 1,42,562 active cases. According to the ICMR, 20,40,23,840 samples have been tested up to February 10. So far, 70,17,114 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in the country.
