Borivali - To commemorate World Cancer Day, 4th Feb, Asian Cancer Institute launched chemotherapy centre nearby Borivali’s Sukurwadi bus stop.
It is considered Mumbai’s first smart cancer treatment which will enable patients to gets treatment nearby their homes. Along with the chemo sessions, it will act as a day care centre.
“This chemotherapy centre has 6-10 beds. Patients here will be able to do a test for blood transfusion, hydration therapy, and other services,” said Dr. Ramakant Deshpande, Onco surgeon.
Along with this doctors will get in touch with the patients through video conference and will suggest medicines. “This service will help patients from running pillar to post for the medicines,” said Dr. Deepak Parikh.
