Mumbai - All India Organisation of Chemists & Druggists (AIOCD), on Wednesday called for a nationwide strike on November 23. This is in connection with illegal selling of medicines online. The association comprises of eight lakh memebers involved in sale and distribution of medicines. The information is provided by AIOCD President Jagannath Shinde. Presently, online pharmacy business is going on illegally and government authorities are not taking any action against them. The strike is in protest of online and illegal selling of drugs and 10 thousand chemists from the state will participate in it, Shinde added.
