Baba Siddique and his son Zeeshan Provide Free Oxygen Concentrators To COVID-19 Patients

Zeeshan and his volunteers will reach out to the needy people as soon as they receive requests for the concentrators. Salman Khan too is working with them for this noble cause.

On Wednesday, May 19, Congress MLA from Bandra (East) Zeeshan Siddiquie and his father and former minister Baba Siddiquie have arranged 500 oxygen concentrators in Mumbai and they will be giving these out to those in need, free of charge. While they have started with 500 oxygen concentrators, but said more would procure more in order to help needy patients in other parts of the state.

Sharing it on social media, Baba Siddique wrote: “Our first lot of 500 oxygen concentrators have reached Mumbai. Covid positive patients who need these oxygen concentrators for an emergency situation can call us on 84518699785. We will be giving these concentrators for free, please return them once done using.”


Moreover, Zeeshan added that his volunteers will reach out to the needy people as soon as they receive requests for the concentrators. The Siddiquis have reached out to 1,25,000 families with ration kits since the first lockdown in March 2020.

It has come to light that even actor Salman Khan is working along with Congress MLA Baba Siddique and his son Zeeshan Siddique, in the procurement of these 500 oxygen concentrators for coronavirus patients. He shared the update on social media handles. The Congress MLA also stated that a lot of people began enquiring soon after Bollywood actor Salman Khan retweeted and reposted it.

Meanwhile, it is pertinent to mention that many celebrities have donated money and raised fundraisers to help the desperate COVID-19 patients.

Recently, Priyanka Chopra shared on her social media account that with the help of the funds received, they have been able to procure 500 oxygen concentrators, 422 oxygen cylinders and have now arranged manpower for 10 vaccination centres.

The ‘Quantico’ star thanked everyone who contributed to the fund and announced that they have raised the fundraiser to $3 million (INR 22 crore).

Apart from Priyanka, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also started a fundraiser. Actor Amitabh Bachchan himself contributed INR 15 crore to various NGOs to fight COVID-19. Actor Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly since last year to help patients procure medicines, oxygen concentrators and hospital beds.
