While the corona virus infection has been under control in the municipal area for the last two years, the municipal health has been alerted as a young woman has been infected with the corona virus in the city on Tuesday. This patient is undergoing treatment at Thane Municipality's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital.
The young woman lives in the Thane municipal area and came to the municipal health centre for medical treatment as she was ill. She was suffering from fever, cold and asthma. When she was tested there, the report came positive. She was immediately admitted to the special ward of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital of Kalwa Municipality for treatment.

Sources informed that her samples will be sent to NIV in Pune for examination and only after the report there, the information about the variant of Corona will be revealed. The medical officer of the hospital Dr. Anirudh Malgaonkar has confirmed the same.
