Mumbai - City is under the clutches of Dengue, past three weeks BMC has reported 296 confirmed dengue cases. 80% confirmed patients were in the age group 15-29. Out of 296 patients, 76% of them are men i.e., 225 males & 71 females. As per the stats provided by BMC –
Malaria – 717
Leptospirosis – 30
High fever – 9796
Last year there were 248 dengue cases, the toll has increased this year. BMC should take precautionary measures to make sure there is no mosquito breeding site anywhere in the city.
