FDA raids at Navy, civic hospitals

Mumbai - In a sensational revelation, it came to fore that civic-run hospitals are playing with the lives of patients in the city. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently raided INHS Asvini Hospital in Colaba where FDA sleuths found irregularities such as expired medicines, improper storage and no record maintenance. The FDA had also raided Siddharth municipal hospital in Goregaon where only one pharmacist was found serving over 800 patients and rules being flouted.
