In a concerning news, according to Nagpur’s civic health department, at least 21 cases of swine flu were reported in the last three days in the district of Maharashtra, officials said on Tuesday, August 2.
He further stated that the number of such cases stood at just six from January 1 to June 30.
The patients with H1N1 flu symptoms started reporting from the second week of July.
In July, 28 persons were detected with swine flu from the second week of July till the month end. Of the total, 21 cases were reported in the last three days - July 29, 30 and 31.

In addition, with the city of Mumbai reporting cases of H1N1 or Swine Flu amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, health experts have been urging people to test themselves for the Swine Flu if the patient does not respond to the treatment for the coronavirus.
Moreover, according to a data revealed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mumbai has recorded 105 cases of swine flu (H1N1) in the month of July compared to only two cases reported in June this year.
While only three swine flu cases were reported in the first 10 days of July, there has been a sharp increase of 102 cases from July 11 to July 31.
It also stated that the city reported 109 H1N1 cases this year till July 31, of which 105 cases (96 per cent) were reported only in the month of July.
