Maharashtra: Inauguration of Mobile App and WhatsApp Helpline for CM's Medical Assistance Fund

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday launched a mobile app and WhatsApp helpline for the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Fund. Whereas, a happiness fair was organised for the patients and their relatives who have successfully recovered from chronic and serious diseases at Sahyadri Guest House.


On this occasion, the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, Dr. Neelam Gore, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Vikas Kharge, Legislative Secretary Jitendra Bhole, Mrs. Chitra Wagh, Mangesh Chiwte of Chief Minister's Help Cell and other dignitaries were present.

Helpline number 8650567567 has been started to contact the patients and their relatives. Chief Minister Eknash Shinde said on the occasion that 12,500 patients were given benefits in one year and one month from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. On this occasion, the fifth edition of the Medical Aid Manual and the book 'Rokhthok' based on the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray were also published. On this occasion, a video of one year's review was shown through the Chief Minister's Help Desk.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, "The government has taken an important decision to provide free check-up and treatment to every citizen of the state in all government hospitals, this scheme is being implemented from today, while helping the patients from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Chief Minister's Relief Fund is a favourite subject for me and some things do not fit in this criteria, but since it is a matter of medical aid, there is a way out, right from the very first cabinet meeting since our government came, this government has taken care of the farmers, labourers, workers, women, students, and any of them will not be denied benefits and schemes”.
