Mental Health Week is celebrated from October 6 to October 12, where the main aim is to create awareness about the social stigma attached to it by conducting various workshops. Initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health, the week was first observed in 1992.

Here are some of the workshops that are going to be organised in Mumbai: 

1. The Indian Psychiatry Society will be organising a 3-day workshop named ‘Manotsav' which will be held in Navi Mumbai and will start from October 11. Doctors and psychiatrist from across the state will be a part of this workshop. 

2. My Zindagi Foundation will be organising a mental health counselling sessions at just ₹1 on October 10 at Goregaon. 


 3. Actress Deepika Padukone will be unveiling her 'charity closet initiatiev' on October 10.
