Sion – A rally to create awareness about a serious disease of Multiple Sclerosis was taken out between Guru Tegbahadur Nagar to Sion station on Saturday. Multiple Sclerosis Society of India secretary Sundari Raju had organised this rally in which over 50 NSS volunteers from SIES College participated. SIES College principal Dr Uma Shankar and Dr Manju Phadke also participated in the rally. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that makes the human body disabled gradually. There are over a lakh patients suffering from this disease in the city. Only 500 patients have registered themselves with this society.
