Coronavirus cases are increasing in Maharashtra including Mumbai. In view of this, many types of precautions are being taken. In the background of which, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started preparations.

The BMC has made masks mandatory in all civic-run hospitals in Mumbai from April 11. An appeal will also be made to all BMC employees to wear masks. Citizens above 65 years of age will also be urged to wear masks. The BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal held a meeting regarding Covid in which this decision has been taken.

Meanwhile, the Satara district administration issued an order taking measure to combat the disease. The district collector Ruchesh Jaivanshi on Monday, April 3, announced the mandatory use of masks for employees and officials in government and semi-government offices, colleges, and banks.
