Navi Mumbai reported 156 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, March 10 talking the tally up to 56,774. While 54,062 people have made a complete recovery from this disease, one death has been reported and the death toll now stands at 1,132. At present 1,580 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. While the recovery rate is at 96 per cent.

On Wednesday, 30 new cases were found in Belapur, 29 in Nerul, 28 in Vashi, 19 in Turbhe, 18 in Koparkhairane, 13 in Ghansoli,16 in Airoli and three in Digha.

While, the recovered patients are 28 from Belapur, 19 from Nerul, 11 from Vashi, 11 from Turbhe, 13 from Koparkhairane, 17 from Ghansoli and five from Airoli.

On Wednesday, March 10, Maharashtra recorded 13,659 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus. This propelled the state's COVID-19 tally to 22,52,057. Currently, there are 99,008 active cases in the state. With 9,913 COVID-19 patients discharged in the day, the number of recovered soared to 20,99,207.

More than 54 people from the state have lost their lives to this disease in the last 24 hours while the total has now mounted to 52,610. While 4,71,187 persons are under home quarantine, 4,244 others have been admitted to institutional quarantine centres. The COVID-19 recovery rate and fatality rate in the state stand at 93.21 per cent, and 2.34 per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, India reported 22,854 new cases, 18,100 recoveries and 126 deaths taking the tally up to 1,12,85,561 on Wednesday, March 10. According to the data by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in total 1,09,38,146 have completely recovered. The death toll is at 1,58,189 in the country. At present, there are 1,89,226 active cases. So far, 2,56,85,011 healthcare and frontline workers have been vaccinated in the country.
