NMMC To Organise special camps at 24 places for malaria, dengue diseases

Under the guidance of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, special camps are being organised simultaneously at 24 different places in the working room of the Civil Primary Health Center through the Health Department.

Such camps which have been organised four times in the past have received a good response from the citizens and so far 27,299 citizens have visited the camps held on four days at 24 places on each day. Medical Health Officer Dr. Prashant Javade has provided the information that the blood sample testing facility of citizens has been made available in the camps and blood testing of 1057 citizens has been done.

A similar special camp will be organised on August 28, 2024 in the area of 24 Civil Primary Health Centers from 10 am to 2 pm. Health centre wise locations of these camps are as follows

(1) Shahbaz Gaon in CBD P.N.A.Kendra Area, in front of Gavdevi Temple.

(2) Gavdevi Temple, Karave Gaon, in the central area of Karave Pvt.

(3) New Sector 50, Under Bridge in Sec-48 Pvt.Na.A.Central Area.

(4) HP Cory (Slum area) in Nerul 1 Pvt.

Similarly, blood samples of all fever patients will be taken on August 28 from 4 am to 2 pm at various 24 places and information will be given along with demonstrations about winter fever, dengue and water borne and epidemic diseases.

In order to control winter fever, dengue and water-borne and epidemic diseases in NMMC area, direct participation of citizens is required and the citizens of NMMC area should take advantage of the camps organised in their respective areas said NMMC Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde.
